This is us

You don't have to post anything here, but if you do, you'll be able to connect with more of your former classmates and teachers.

Fill out as much or as little as you'd like.
The username and password requirement is to protect your profile so only you can make changes to it. Any contact information you provide is hidden and won't appear on the page.

Use this space to tell us what you've been up to since your Adams days.

Click the "Where are they now" button to see a map of where we're all living (you can opt out of that).

Editor's note: This site frequently uses the term "maiden name" for the surname you used while at Adams. There is no way to change this outdated (and slightly offensive) colloquialism. Gah.

Artists' Model Single 1974
So much has happened since I left Adams in 1974. Where on earth do I begin?

I've been a Seattle resident since June 1990. And as of January 2017, I've been living as part of an intentional community with 13 (!) other people, with an LGBTQ and social justice focus.

I'm also a cancer survivor (with 5 years in remission). I was diagnosed with Stage 0 Breast Cancer in December 2013. Thankfully, I caught it early, so I didn't require radiation or chemo. And interestingly enough, the cancer diagnosis was a gift for me because it showed me how short life is. Because of that, I stopped caring what people think of me. I also began setting boundaries in my life, and stopped allowing people to treat me badly. What an epiphany!

Also, since 2017, I've been presenting a workshop I developed, called "Transcending Shame" at various conferences around the U.S. and Canada (Vancouver, BC). You can find out more about the workshop from the podcast "Loving Without Boundaries" where I was interviewed in May 2019. Now, since I'm not allowed to include website links here, feel free to Google "Loving Without Boundaries" and "Gloria Jackson-Nefertiti" and you'll find the podcast.

There's so much more I can say, but I'll just end by saying that life is an amazing adventure for me, and it just gets better all the time.
